Medical device fulfillment

The right device.

Identify · Verify · Prepare · Release

Device detail remains attached to the order.

Identity before movement

An order can be correct by count and wrong by identity.

Medical device fulfillment connects the ordered model with the applicable unit or batch identity, current product status, accessories, documents and destination instructions before release.

Device identity

The correct model is only the beginning.

The product owner defines which identifiers matter for the device and order: catalogue or model information, and where applicable, lot, serial, expiry or another production detail.

Those fields can be captured at receiving, allocation, pick verification and outbound release so the physical device remains connected to the distribution record the responsible business maintains.

One controlled device flow

Verification at the moments that matter.

The workflow keeps product identity, eligibility and order detail connected from arrival through release.

Confirm quantity, condition and supplied device identity.

Capture the identifiers required by the product workflow.

Order configuration

Build the complete order before it reaches staging.

The device is one part of the release decision. The workcell brings the full configuration together so a missing accessory, incorrect document or unsuitable pack is found before carrier handoff.

Device match

Verify the intended model and applicable identifier.

Accessory match

Add the components defined for the order.

Pack control

Apply the approved protection and handling format.

Document set

Attach the required recipient and shipment records.

Returns and field stock

Keep returned devices outside the normal order flow.

A returned device is physically present, but that does not make it available. Identity, condition, accessories and handling history need review under the product owner’s instruction before any next action.

01

Identify and hold

Connect the returned unit to its device record and remove it from availability.

02

Inspect by instruction

Capture condition, completeness and the evidence the owner requires.

03

Authorize disposition

Route the unit only after the responsible party provides direction.
